UMTS/W-CDMA Field Strength Area Tester

Anritsu ML8720B UMTS / W-CDMA Field Strength Area Tester is designed to evaluate radio-wave propagation characteristics of a W-CDMA base station for installation and maintenance applications. Measurement items include field strength measurements of the CPICH (Common Pilot Indication Channel) received from each base station and the delay profile, which can be used to evaluate the delay characteristics of the radio wave caused by multi-path propagation. Measurement items include:

RSCP: Received Signal Code Power
Ec/No: Ratio of desired receive power per chip to receive power density in the band
SIR: Signal Interference Ratio
